Beautiful Mississippi Wedding | First Baptist of Clinton
Summer Weddings in the south are known to be hot, hott if you will…but there is a way to stand out and stay cool. Anna Marie and Austin , married on June 18th in Clinton Mississippi found a way to stay cool! They had the most beautiful ceremony at The First Baptist Church of Clinton, a historic church in downtown Clinton across from the beautiful campus of Mississippi College. The ceremony was intimate and touching, with both the bride and groom looking on in tears as they said their vows.
Biblically, washing feet is a representation of being humble and serving others. This is exactly what this couple did. They took time out of their day to get on their knees, wash each other’s feet, and pray with the people they love most. They lived out 1 Pet 5:5 “You younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble’ (NIV).They were married by Austin’s grandfather, the evidence of family unity and Jesus was shown throughout the entire ceremony! There was not a dry eye in the chapel. Seriously, I saw people that were so overcome with emotion they were sobbing. That was how overwhelming sweet this ceremony was!
