The History

When Tom and Lucy purchased a farm just south of Collierville in 2014, they didn’t know that their new home would also be an event venue. The couple’s friend asked if he could have his wedding at one point on the property; as luck would happen this led to them remodeling part – which eventually became Mallard’s Croft!

When Tom’s daughters were at Ole Miss, he learned that Oxford did not have a venue large enough for big wedding receptions or college social events. He discovered this wanting to hold more of these types in the future and so took matters into his own hands by building The Jefferson- which has been host many major parent weekends since then!

The Grand Hall at The Jefferson

The Grand Hall at the Jefferson is 7,200 square feet of wedded bliss. The room also features lots of electrical circuits, chairs to seat 20, built-in counters on 3 walls, 3 swivel bar stools for make-up/hair, and mirrors on all 4 walls. So whether you’re getting ready for your ceremony or taking a moment to relax with your bridal party, the Bride’s Room at the Jefferson has everything you need to make sure your wedding day is perfect.

The Groom’s Room is the perfect place for the groom and his groomsmen to relax and get ready for the big day. The room includes a leather sofa, loveseat, and chair, as well as plenty of extra chairs for large groups. There is also a rolling hanging rack, mirror, and 65″ SmartTV with Hulu Live. This is the perfect spot for the groom and his friends to unwind before the ceremony.
